VC's Message

I feel proud & privileged for being assigned the responsibility to act as Vice Chancellor of this young and rapidly progressing University. The YMCA institution has been in existence for the past 46 years and consistently been involved in the creation of large number of competent engineering professionals & entrepreneurs. The  institution that had a humble beginning as a post diploma institution, famous for generating skilled technical human resource directly absorbable by the industry, has reached to  the level of a science and technology university to create more competent human resource in the diversified areas of Science, Technology and Management.

Though still in its infancy as a university, the institution is ready to take up the forthcoming challenges in diversified domains through its focus on technological skill development, state-of-the-art scientific and industrial research, efficient management and inculcation of ethical and moral values.

Prof. Dinesh Kumar

To achieve this aim, the university is not only involved in the creation of highly qualified scientific, technological and management professionals but is also involved in imparting basic technological skills for underprivileged section of the society through its community college program. I wish that the university should contribute to the Nation’s development by taking up the more and more scientific and technological projects which are directly meant for the upliftment of the society.

I wish to make university environment efficient and tech-savvy which shall require the support of an efficient ERP system and whole hearted participation in programs like Digital India by all its stake holders.

The university is committed to meet the expectations of all its stake holders and wants to realize its vision to emerge as a centre of excellence in various fields both at national and international level for which I solicit the participation of one and all.

Dr. Dinesh Kumar
